Job Description

Supply chain specialist role is a part of the Fluid Conveyance division with a focus on the Rubber Hose & Hydraulic Fittings business unit and plants.  The Fulfilment team is responsible for deploying and maintaining the elements of the Hydraulics Fulfillment Model: ABCQ segmentation, Replenishment Design, Inventory Management, and Capacity Management.  Analysts work across functions to maintain a cadence for parameter updates, projects, forecasts, etc. in alignment with the Global Supply Chain Excellence calendar.


In summary, this individual will be a critical Materials Management Subject Matter Expert in Anaplan, SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft systems. They will be a go-to resource for both planned and ad-hoc work to support our drive towards Supply Chain and Manufacturing Excellence.
 

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and continued learning surrounding the transition to OneERP, SAP, and Anaplan planning systems.
  • Build Inventory Playbooks for sites that accurately define the product and process fulfillment strategy and that align with the SKU characteristics associated with the site’s product offering.
  • Implement and maintain replenishment settings in the MRP system to align to the local inventory playbook strategy.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to assign and maintain ABCQ Product Segmentation codes for all parent and child items in the MRP system.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication linkages with the sites that he/she serves to ensure that the site has a voice in the ABCQ/Playbook plans, replenishment design, capacity models, and inventory forecast.  Work with the sites to drive execution to plan for all elements.
  • Partner with the operations team to create monthly inventory forecasts that are aligned with the SIOP Demand Forecast and established replenishment designs.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years within Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Logistics, preferably from manufacturing environment. 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Materials Mgt: Material Planning, Master Scheduling, Materials Analysis, etc.
  • Minimum 3 year of experience working with a largescale ERP/MRP system; Oracle, SAP, MFG Pro, etc.
  • No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must reside within 50 miles of a Danfoss facility to be considered.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills, including proficiency with standard office tools (Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc).  
  • Fluency in English is a must.

Project management experience with demonstrated history of driving accomplishments through a team and the ability to analyze, interpret and document complex business processes and systems. Also, our new supply chain specialist must be credible and use data and analysis to make decisions and then support with action plans
