We are currently recruiting for the position of Technical Project Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for working with Project Managers to ensure the successful execution of projects, understanding Delco's suite of projects, and ensuring customer success. Only applicants from Saskatoon, SK will be considered.

Responsibilities
- Work with and support Project Managers in the successful execution of their projects.
- Develop a full understanding of the Delco Automation, Delco Manufacturing and Delco Water suite of projects.
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensuring project schedules and deadlines are followed and met.
- Purchasing, including the creation, issuing, filing, and tracking of PO's, RFQ's, quotations and purchase returns.
- Expediting, including the organizing and tracking of shipments and deliveries.
- Determining project changes.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Undertaking project tasks as required such as project reporting.
- Developing project strategies.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Create a project management calendar/schedule for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Provide a point of contact for sub-trades, vendors, and clients.
- Manage and maintain relationships among all project related groups and individuals, internal and external.
- Assist with the review and coordination of safety documentation from site workers.
- Support other departments by performing technical tasks such as design, drawings, programming and commissioning as required.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, or Certified Engineering Technologist or Registered Engineering Technologist designation.
- Experience in related field, such as electrical construction, mechanical construction, instrumentation, automation systems, process, or industrial controls.
- Exceptional verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competent level of problem-solving experience
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
- Knowledge in file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- High-level ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, PFDs, and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to negotiate with clients and vendors.
- High level understanding of the construction process from tender to commissioning.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Valid driver’s license required.

- PLC and HMI programming knowledge and experience in the automation industry is desired.
- Water treatment design and construction is desired.
- Highly motivated and able to thrive in a team environment.
- Strong negotiating skills to secure the best pricing possible.
