Role Summary

The Coordinator, Strategic Projects & Supply Distribution (m/f/d) is responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of key strategic projects and supporting the resolution process of critical component shortages with main focus on Electronics.  This role is one of the essential drivers to achieve financial & strategic targets of Purchasing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the coordination of projects defined by the Director of Purchasing as critical to the success of achieving the Business Plan or Strategic objectives
  • Develop, propose & help to implement initiatives or processes across the regional Purchasing organization aiming to increase efficiency, avoid re-occurrent issues or keep the organizational Purchasing tools up to market standards and above
  • Monitor critical supply disruptions across the divisions
  • Ensure that a proper escalation of supply disruption to the Global Commodity team has been executed via the right channels 
  • Host regular shortage review meetings with Divisional Purchasing and Material leads in the region, tracking status and escalating where necessary to Regional Director and/or Global Commodity team where appropriate.
  • Working with Divisional Staff and vendor to trouble-shoot potential shortages resolve risks proactively.
  • Work with Global Commodity team and Division to resolve any commercial aspects of shortage resolutions.
  • Identifying lowest cost solutions while ensuring supply continuity
Key Qualifications/Requirements

EDUCATION:

  • University degree in business or similar qualification

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience
  • Microsoft Excel & SAP
  • General IATF16949 Procedures Knowledge
  • Basic contractual Laws/Regulations knowledge
  • Basic technical knowledge on various manufacturing processes
