GlobalLogic Sweden is looking for a Senior Android Platform Developer to join their clients' Automotive projects in Gothenburg, Sweden. The clients are Tier 1s and OEMs from Europe and USA, focusing on Automotive Solution deployment in the newest European cars.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in software development with Embedded C++
  • Experience with Android NDK, Android Kotlin
  • Proficiency in Android stack
  • Deep knowledge of Android SDK
  • Experience in a Linux environment
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git, and CI toolchains
  • Knowledge of modern app architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM, layered architecture, refactoring)
  • Full software development life cycle experience from conception to deployment; including design, architecture, documentation, implementation, verification, and validation
Beneficial:
  • Experience in Automotive or Infotainment
  • Knowledge of CarPlay
  • Experience with Android Auto
  • Expertise in Automotive communication buses: CAN, Flexray, SomeIP, etc
  • Software development experience on QNX platform
  • Familiarity with Qualcomm SoC is advantageous

  • Driver's license (B-level)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with UX and stakeholders to define end-to-end solutions
  • Develop software in application framework and native layers of Android stack for automotive infotainment systems
  • Take responsibility for complete features implementation from HMI to HAL, covering design, architecture, documentation, implementation, verification, and validation
  • Work from the Kosice office with 1-2 days remote work per week, as the HW is located at the office
