Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of company's accounting records and financial reporting.

The primary goal of the Senior Accountant is to assist the Plant Controller in maintaining meticulous financial management, compliance, and providing strategic financial support.

• Accurately process all incoming invoices, ensuring compliance with terms and accuracy of charges,
• Schedule and execute timely payments, maintaining favourable terms and reinforcing supplier trust,
• Regularly reconcile accounts payable to ensure precision in financial records,
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor paymentrelated inquiries, resolving any issues or discrepancies,
• Maintain detailed records of accounts payable transactions and generate relevant financial reports for management review,
• Oversee the organization's accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of accounting records and preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements),
• Manage and perform overall financial transaction recording,
• Develop and implement financial transaction recording processes and business improvements,
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory and tax requirements,
• Establish and enforce accounting policies and procedures,
• Ensure internal controls are followed to safeguard the organization's assets,
• Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities,
• Review journal entries and account reconciliations,
• Ensure accurate recording and classification of all financial transactions,
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns (VAT, CIT) internally and through effective communication with external tax advisors,
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and collections from customers,
• Support the coordination of external financial audits,
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements,
• Actively support ERP implementation by serving as an ERP Key User (testing, training) in accountingrelated areas,
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring continuous professional development of the accounting staff.
