Investment Accounting Analyst

Join our Investment Accounting department, a team of experts dedicated to providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions. As an Investment Accounting Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our financial data.

About the Role

• Prepare comprehensive accounting assessments under IFRS for various financial instruments
• Support collaboration with other departments within Swiss Re to ensure seamless financial operations
• Analyze the characteristics of specific financial instruments to inform accounting decisions
• Prepare supporting documentation for month-end activities and ad hoc tasks assigned by the team
• Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Work with internal and external systems, as well as various software applications

About You

• University student in Accounting or Finance/Banking, with a strong academic record
• Finance/Accounting experience is an asset, but not required
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible and open to new challenges and learning opportunities
