Data & Analytics Re is the data arm of Digital & Tech Re. About the Role
We're currently seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of leading our L2 Operations Team within Data & Analytics Re. In this critical position, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth operation of our data infrastructure by overseeing incident resolution and data quality management.
Your primary focus will be on leading the L2 operations team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to address data requirements and concerns.
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's data-driven decision-making processes and strategic initiatives. We're looking for someone with a proven track record in data operations and a strong ability to drive change and innovation within a dynamic environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading L2 Operations Team: Oversee the L2 operations team responsible for resolving incidents and issues in data feeds and loads. Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure timely resolution of issues impacting data foundations (ADM) and downstream data products.
- Driving Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline data processes, enhance operational efficiency, and optimize data quality. Identifying areas for automation and implement solutions to minimize manual intervention.
- Collaborating with Stakeholders: Working closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand data requirements, address concerns, and prioritize initiatives. Building strong relationships with business partners to ensure alignment between data initiatives and organizational goals.
- Monitoring Performance Metrics: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of data quality and operational processes. Regularly analysing performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
- Staying Updated on Industry Trends: Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data management, quality assurance, and operational excellence. Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge to drive innovation and excellence.
About you
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in experience managing operations for applications and IT domains with a flair for data. You will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as this role requires working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders spanning both business and technical partners. The candidate must demonstrate a proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation in data quality and operational processes.

Your experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data operations or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing operational teams and driving incident resolution in data feed and load environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team effectively.
- Experience in incident management, data quality management, or similar areas.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and streamline data processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
- Knowledge of Palantir Foundry would be or similar big data platforms.
- Reinsurance industry experience is highly valued.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.

The minimum gross monthly base salary for this role is 3300 EUR full time. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering the skills and experience that you bring to the Swiss Re Group. You can look forward to extra rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
