About the Role

As Head Data & Tech Operating Platform you will be responsible for driving transformation & delivery management and oversee the improvement of our operating platform. Additionally, you will be acting as location head of our organization in Bratislava. In the role you will ensure that our teams are staffed appropriately, collaborate well in an agile setup, and deliver timely and in good quality. It is your main goal to grow and maintain high quality business applications and you will also be the central contact person for the management team located in Zurich, with whom you will collaborate closely.

In your role you are responsible to:

• Oversee platform operations, incl. maintenance and optimization
• Drive platform performance and stability initiatives, incl. operational performance reporting
• Own end-to-end capability maps and work closely with group enterprise architecture to keep business and technical architecture artifacts up-to-date.
• Own and manage our data licenses and support strategic vendor mgmt. and planning
• Assume role as location head for Digital & Technology P&C Re in Bratislava, building and growing our team in Bratislava
• Build a strong community within the Bratislava team to achieve strong team cohesion, performance and retention, collaborating closely with the Head Product & Delivery, the Engineering Lead and the Product Area Leads
• Lead the delivery of key strategic projects & initiatives

• Proven leadership & management experience
• Proven experience with product ownership managing portfolio of software products
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate complex technical issues to a non-technical audience
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and re-prioritize around changing organizational objectives and timelines
• Strong customer orientation
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as within a global team
• Familiarity with agile development approaches (e.g. Scrum)

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between EUR 4,900 and EUR 8,200 per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

In the situation where you significantly exceed the requirements, the offered salary may be above the advertised range.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
