Our client's Microsoft Business Solutions team is a market leader in implementing Microsoft software solutions for medium to large organisations. They provide their clients with the ability to stay ahead in the digital world by leveraging Microsoft's M365, Azure, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
The role of D365 F&O Technical Architect involves using expertise and experience to deliver technical solutions for customer requirements in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This includes building and testing new and existing functionalities, working in an Agile approach, and delivering development work according to Microsoft Business Solutions standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Solution and Senior Technical Architects to create high-quality design and sustainable client solutions.
- Implement technical solutions for customer requirements in D365FO.
- Analyse and resolve issues within the ERP system.
- Participate in development, integrations, product support, and platform updates.
- Write and manage technical documents.
- Ensure all design/technical documentation is kept up to date during the development process.
A University graduate with a relevant degree in computing or business disciplines.
Minimum 6+ years' experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
Experience with all stages of Dynamics 365 FO Development.
Strong knowledge on X++.
Good knowledge of Life Cycle Services (LCS).
Experience in using Azure DevOps such as source control, gated check-ins, and pipelines.
Understand Devops principles.
Team player, able to foster positive working relationships across the organisation.
