We have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Director. This role is accountable for delivering exceptional client satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and business results for a team of tax professionals.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory, planning, and preparation services to clients as an individual contributor while also managing a team of tax professionals. You will lead by example, embodying our company values and ensuring that your team members have clarity on their roles, responsibilities, and expectations.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead a team of tax professionals to deliver exceptional client satisfaction and business results.

• Provide tax advisory, planning, and preparation services to clients as an individual contributor.

• Mentor and coach team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

• Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance or Business; BS in Accounting preferred.

• CPA or EA required.

• 8 years of tax accounting experience.

• 12 years of overall (public, corporate, tax) accounting experience.

• 4 years of people leadership experience preferred, managing 2 or more direct reports.

• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with ability to build and nurture productive working relationships and establish professional credibility with people across the firm and with clients.
