Who we are looking for

Candidate we are looking for has:

• Bachelor's degree / master's degree, preferably in economics or law, with an understanding of finance, law and management
• An advantage is experience in the areas of tax or business consulting or the application of regulations in the area of indirect taxes (VAT, excise duties, customs) in the private or public sector (state administration bodies).
• Advanced knowledge of English language
• Ability to work independently and also as a team player
• High motivation, ownership and proactivity
• Good communication skills
• Good computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Knowledge of any major ERP system (SAP, Oracle, MS Navision) – an advantage
• Basic knowledge of programming or, excel macros – an advantage

Your future role

• Preparation of documentation related to VAT and Intrastat reporting (e.g. VAT registration, VAT reports, Intrastat reports, etc.) for client portfolios
• Preparation of tax advice in the area of indirect taxes, including VAT, excise duties and customs duties, supporting clients with VAT audits
• Cooperation with colleagues from other tax areas on projects that include tax reviews and due diligence projects
• Communication with competent tax and customs authorities for the purpose of timely solution of client issues
• Continuous improvement in the field of tax advisory, administrative procedures and European VAT legislation
• Continuous improvement in the field of communication, negotiation, leadership and business development
• Leading of junior colleagues on engagements
• Continuous development of junior colleagues
• Building relations with clients and with Deloitte colleagues across the region of Central Europe
• Identification of opportunities for sale of further services

Remuneration: (i) starting fromEUR 2 100 EUR per month(higher remuneration may be agreed depending on the professional qualifications, experience, and business development potential) + (ii) yearly variable fee based on the financial results and mutually agreed KPIs.
