About the role
As a Medical Science Liaison Immunology, you will identify and foster purposeful partnerships with key scientific stakeholders to create patient value.
You will engage in peer-to-peer scientific exchanges relative to the assigned asset and therapeutic area â Immunology, throughout the productâs life cycle and gathers/shares crucial insights which can inform medical and business strategies and product development.

The MSL reports to the Medical Field Lead and is the local medical representative/scientific expert of a field cross-functional team.

Who youâll work with
You will be a key field-based scientific partner to healthcare providers and decision-makers, medical professional associations, and internal UCB colleagues in Slovakia.
Â
What youâll do
- Agile and proactive identification and management of key scientific and medical influencers based on local ecosystem dynamics and stakeholder needs and drivers (from push to pull).
- Exploration and identification of new sources of patient value (innovative solutions and services).
- Manage and generate product/ disease state data (IIS, audits, RWE etc.).
- Support clinical studies, clinical development and share insights with R&D team.
- Serving as the leading local scientific expert for UCB solutions.
- Supporting market access colleagues when applicable in presentation of RWE/HEOR/clinical information to regional and local payer accounts and formularies.

Interested? For this role weâre looking for the following education, experience and skills
Â
- Educational background: university degree (Master, PhD) in Life Sciences, Medicine, Biology, Pharma.
- Proven track record of 3 years of experience in Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Medical Advisor roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills including networking and presentation skills.
- The ability to clearly articulate complex scientific in 1:1 and group settings.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing own territory.
- Understands and uses technical devices and digital media to support access and interactions.
- Customer service oriented, business acumen required with the ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team.
- Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively balance field time and administrative duties.
- Willingness to travel extensively, both nationally and internationally). The position is field base (70-80%).
- Languages: full professional proficiency in English and Slovak (both oral and written).
