Procurement Operations Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to develop, implement, and execute regional strategic procurement activities related to assigned direct materials.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze and learn cost structure models in various regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies designed to improve business process productivity, reduce costs, and procurement-related expenses while improving profitability and increasing Trade Working Capital (TWC).
  • Support regional procurement teams by enhancing strategy and leveraging expertise and knowledge of the region.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, including managing day-to-day operations, issues, and escalations.
  • Work effectively with business units leaders to ensure alignment of the global strategy and adoption of best practices.
  • Research and negotiate service providers to support business unit and plant operations.
  • Develop relationships with business unit regional procurement managers to leverage expertise across the organization.
  • Understand market trends and regulation changes that may affect business operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in procurement roles in direct materials, working in an international environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze cost structure models.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across channels.
