Compliance Leader Position

Compliance Lawyer Role:

We are seeking a seasoned compliance lawyer to join our global team. The successful candidate will lead legal support on a broad range of compliance matters across Europe, partnering with business teams and stakeholders to deliver proactive and innovative legal solutions.

The role offers a unique opportunity to become a trusted adviser and compliance leader to all of our businesses that operate in, or supply products or services to, Europe.

The successful candidate will be part of a small global team and will report to a manager located outside Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor the external regulatory environment across Europe and provide expert advice on the impact of regulatory developments.

• Provide day-to-day legal advice on compliance matters and interact with government authorities as needed.

• Support our global compliance program initiatives by delivering compliance training and developing new policies, processes, procedures, and programs.

• Manage relationships with external counsel and travel budgets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Critical Thinking and Decision Making: Knowledge of decision-making processes and associated tools and techniques; ability to analyze situations accurately and make productive decisions based on informed judgment.

• Effective Communication: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors.

• Prioritization and Time Management: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments about prioritization and time allocation.

• Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems; ability to apply problem-solving knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
