Finance Rotational Associate

We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our Finance and Accounting Rotational Development Program at Johnson Controls. This 2.5-year program is designed to develop future experts and leaders in the field of finance and accounting.

Program Overview

The program is an intensive and exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various finance and accounting roles within Johnson Controls. You will rotate through different positions every 6 months, gaining a comprehensive understanding of accounting and financial responsibilities. Your first rotation will be in Bratislava, Slovakia, and subsequent rotations may be in other European or Middle Eastern locations.

What You Will Do

• Assist in tracking financial business transactions, including accruals, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.
• Perform account analysis and prepare reconciliations to ensure balance sheet accuracy.
• Support business units by providing monthly information and analysis to management.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls.

Rotations and Responsibilities

During the program, you will have the opportunity to work in various finance and accounting roles, including:

• Plant Accounting: Responsible for tracking financial business transactions and ensuring proper accounts are charged.
• Financial Analyst/Field Business Analyst: Provides accounting and analytical financial support to management.
• Internal Audit: Analyzes processes and documentation to assess compliance with procedures and adequacy of controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, or Finance.
• Ability to relocate and travel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
• Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
