Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAE System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for installing, supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems and software for CAE and related applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure global availability and development of CAE applications
  • Gather software requirements, analyze solutions, and provide user support as a power user
  • Participate in the "Application Ownership Team" and handle 1st and 2nd level support; coordinate 3rd level support with HZI partners
  • Manage application servers, coordinate with outsourcing partners, and assist with BIM coordination
  • Oversee virtual desktop infrastructure (Citrix/VDI), create documentation, and train users
  • Handle budget planning, license administration, software procurement, and participate in new software projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with CAE applications (advantageous but not mandatory)
  • Background in construction or industrial engineering (advantageous)
  • Customer and service-oriented approach
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Knowledge of IT project management
  • Proficiency in English (C1 level, spoken and written)
  • German language skills (desirable but not mandatory)
