As a Senior Cloud Solution Architect (m/f/d), you will advise our customers on the development and

implementation of cloud strategies and architectures, create the corresponding cloud solution design

including assessment, conception, implementation, migration, transformation and operation of IT

solutions and will be able to help manage an interdisciplinary team of Cloud Architects and Special

Matter Experts. As a real doer, you are of course also active in the subsequent implementation phase

in the architecture design and ensure the seamless transition of the intended solution design into the

practical project implementation.

You have very good knowledge and experience in private, hybrid and public cloud technologies and

the associated value-added services and have a strong drive to constantly develop yourself further in

this and related fields of technology. In addition to your professional profile, you are particularly

convincing due to your team spirit, strong communication skills, empathy, high quality work results,

strong customer focus and resilience.

 

Your tasks in detail:

• Customer-oriented re-presentation and communication of the Eviden Cloud solution

portfolio at solution level to customers / interested parties

• Analyzing business process requirements and advising clients on migration and

transformation projects

• Requirements analysis (see customer specifications, architecture and operating

specifications, business and IT processes, compliance & security requirements),

research into technical feasibility

• Appropriate design of cloud concepts and complete and contractually viable overall

solution specifications for hybrid or public cloud environments along our cloud portfolio

including project planning, SLA definition and cost calculation

• Cooperation or, if required, interdisciplinary management of architects (m/f/d) and special

matter experts (m/f/d) as well as external partners

• Presentation and representation of the solution in approval processes and negotiations

• Within projects, implementation of assessments, proof of concepts, development of

technical solutions according to evidence and customer standards as well as processes

including consulting, requirements management in close cooperation with the project

manager (m/f/d) and the architecture team, architecture and architecture documentation

as well as integration of technical solutions into a defined operating model

• Ensuring the technical quality of the solution delivered to the customer and adherence to

the agreed schedule

• Continuous development and revision of Eviden standard solutions in line with

technological developments, global market trends and customer requirements

• Establishment / expansion and sustainable maintenance of an internal and external

network with specialist departments and complementary partnerships as well as the

development and further development of joint solution approaches

• Lectures and project presentations (German and English)

• Generating new projects or project extensions for new and existing customers with the

responsible sales manager

 

What you bring with you:

• Degree in computer science, business informatics or similar. Degree or comparable

training with corresponding career and certifications

• Many years of professional experience in IT in the areas of architecture, presales and

consulting, including >3 years of practical experience in solution design of cloud

architectures

• Sound knowledge and architectural experience of and with

o Public and hybrid cloud solutions and services (infrastructure, virtualization,

IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, microservices, data management)

o Agile and integrative process methods (SAFe or SCRUM; DevOps)

o CI/CD practices, tools and platforms

o Containerization solutions (Kubernetes; Openshift, VMware Tanzu)

o Cloud security solutions and mechanisms

o Cloud connectivity concepts incl. routing, VPN tunelling, DNS

• Current architecture certifications (professional level) with at least one hyperscaler

(Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google)

• Specialization in cloud security & compliance according to current market requirements is

a plus

• Project experience with medium-sized and large customers (i.e. also in complex

structures)

• Confident manner in customer relations and at management level

• Presentation strength

• High level of self-motivation and strong sense of responsibility

• Strong self-drive to constantly develop yourself further

• Willingness to travel

• Business fluent in written and spoken English and Slovak
