Job Description
  • Support in the accounting and finance department within the branch to the full extent according to the corresponding legal regulations.
  • Assistance in cooperation with respective departments of the parent company as well as in the preparation and reporting of relevant documents.
  • Support in the preparation of documents required for the planning process.
  • Support in communication with financial institutions, mainly banks - account management, payments, etc.
  • Support in liquidity and cash flow management including banking mandate and related internal control.
  • Assistance in the preparation of actuarial statistics, in particular pursuant to Act no. 8/2008 Coll. on Insurance.
  • Assistance in the implementation of insurance and reinsurance administration, in particular premium payments, and commissions' control.
  • Assistance in the preparation of annual financial statements, inventory, tax return, and assets declaration.
  • Assistance in the preparation of reports for relevant authorities (mainly Tax Office, Statistical Office) and supervisory authorities.
  • Assistance in the preparation of supporting documents and full cooperation with audits.
  • Taking part in strategic discussions.
  • Individual goals (e.g. projects within the company).
Qualification
  • .Degree (High school; College/University is an advantage).
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting and finance.
  • High level of self-motivation, responsibility, and diligence.
  • Ability to cooperate with others and be a team player.
  • Proactivity and initiative.
  • Familiar with all functions of MS Office products.
  • Slovak at native speaker level and good knowledge of English.
