Financial Management Specialist

This is a senior accounting position in our international finance division, where you will perform various accounting functions and activities.
The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in accounting or finance, 3+ years of accounting experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
Key Responsibilities- Post journal entries and accruals
- Perform reconciliation of all balance sheet account items
- Review and book travel expense reports and invoices
- Review and reconcile all intercompany transactions
- Assist with annual audit preparations
- Prepare tax returns, VAT reports and withholding tax reports
- Prepare monthly and yearly statistics
- Guide and provide support and expertise to junior members of the team
- Participate in financial standards and policies setting
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies
- Master's degree in accounting or finance required
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Competency in accounting and tax area
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
- Fluent Slovak/Czech is a must
- Good knowledge of English language
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work with little or without any guidance
