Content Moderator with Slovakian Language Expertise

Location: Thessaloniki, Greece

Work Model: On-site

Employment type: Full-time

We offer an excellent remuneration package based on experience, skills, and performance, estimated at around €25,000 - €30,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location.

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review various types of digital content, including videos, news stories, images, political ads, and social media posts
  • Evaluate the suitability of this content for different age groups, assessing factors such as violence, sex, and political transparency
  • Apply a consistent approach to evaluating content against established policies, using your judgment and decision-making skills
  • Identify subtle differences in digital communication and apply client terms of use accurately
  • PARTICIPATE IN EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS AND TRAINING INITIATIVES TO ENHANCE YOUR WELL-BEING AND THAT OF THE COMPANY COMMUNITY
  • Escalate any issues that may impact performance or require attention from management
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to project security requirements at all times

Requirements:

  • Fluent English (C1) and Slovakian (C1), with excellent grammar and language skills
  • Desirable experience in BPOs, contact centers, or content moderation environments
  • Able to handle sensitive content, which may include depictions of child exploitation, animal cruelty, gang violence, murder, hate speech, and other disturbing topics
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with empathy and emotional intelligence
  • Familiarity with local politics and social issues is beneficial
  • Ability to pass a background check
