Compensation and Reward Specialist

Job Description:

The Compensation and Reward Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the global compensation team, working closely with senior managers to deliver strategic reward projects, job evaluation, and local compensation programs.

This key position involves coordinating annual compensation cycles, gathering data from regions, conducting analysis, and preparing reports for budgeting and year-end reporting. Additionally, it requires providing guidance on salary offers, promotions, and merit increases while ensuring consistency with compensation policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate annual compensation cycles, including data collection, analysis, and report preparation.
  • Support bonus and salary reviews, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of calculations.
  • Assist in creating presentations and reports for strategic global and local reward projects.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR stakeholders to analyze and provide insights on compensation structures.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of compensation statistics and analyses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess advanced Excel skills, including v-lookup, pivot tables, and IF statements. Experience in using Microsoft PowerPoint and PowerBI is also essential. Furthermore, you should have a working knowledge of broader HR implications, such as payroll interfaces, HRIS, HRBPs, and advisors.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in an 'in-house' reward function.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in using HR systems, particularly Workday.
  • Knowledge of benchmarking and job evaluation methodology (HAY advantageous).
  • Knowledge of applying AI tools in compensation and broader HR processes.
