Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Taxation Specialist to join our team based in Bratislava. This role will involve working with global tax calculation services, providing end-to-end solutions to Amazon and its merchants.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in indirect taxation and excellent analytical skills. They will be responsible for VAT product and services taxability research, including monitoring VAT rate legislation changes and latest rulings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing product tax classifications for billions of products across multiple languages
  • Conducting product/service taxability research across a wide range of categories
  • Assisting in monitoring VAT rate legislation changes and latest rulings
  • Maintaining local and global indirect tax rates content
  • Participating in ongoing audit activities and supporting internal and external audits
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in indirect tax
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in customer-focused teams
