Production Optimization Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled industrial engineer to join our team in optimizing software and end-of-line processes. This is a unique chance to be part of building something new, setting standards for lean and efficient production solutions.

The ideal candidate will design and optimize processes, equipment, and logistics for software and end-of-line stations, creating 2D/3D layouts, estimating cycle times, and balancing manual and automated work.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing optimized production setup for software and end-of-line stations
  • Setting up lean and optimized production processes for end-of-line
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for tooling and equipment process development
  • Handling and securing mechanical, automation, and software-related issues during concept work, ensuring safety and functionality
  • Reviewing technical content of documentation to ensure it meets agreed-upon levels
  • Ensuring that requirements regarding documentation for the discipline are included in RFQs
  • Securing legal inspections and documenting them
  • Ensuring installation and commissioning of equipment
  • Coordinating activities according to sourcing and installation plans

Requirements

  • University degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or equivalent technical engineering background
  • Minimum 10 years of practical and project-leading experience with tooling and equipment installation (systems design and integration)
  • Extensive experience in process-related to software and end-of-line
  • Experience with system and component testing of electric vehicles
  • Familiarity with 3D simulation and software diagnostic tools
  • Knowledge of machine directives and applicable harmonized IATF16949 within area of expertise
  • Basic health and safety knowledge
  • Basic ergonomics knowledge
  • Documentation system knowledge
  • Project management and leadership skills
